Virgin vegetable oils

Extra virgin olive oil.

It is the main character of MATARRANIA. An excellent virgin olive oil, ecologically certified by the Aragon Council of Ecological Agriculture, and obtained with the traditional method of first cold pressing, that produces the first juices. It is the only method that allows the olive properties to be kept intact. Thanks to its great amount of vitamin E, essential fatty acids and polyphenols, olive oil is a powerful antioxidant (protects from free radicals responsible for skin aging). Besides, it moisturizes, invigorates and cares for your skin.

Our supplier of olive oil, Designation of Origin Bajo Aragon, is an olive oil mill in Maella (province of Zaragoza) that preserves and uses the large stone rolls to crush the olives and the traditional press to extract the oil. Olives are collected by local farmers.

Virgin almond oil.

First cold pressed and ecologically certified by the Catalan Council of Ecological Agriculture (CCPAE). This is the most commonly used oil in cosmetics, as it is suitable for all types of skin and rapidly absorbed. It is rich in essential fatty acids (oleic and linoleic acids) and vitamins A and E.

Our supplier of almond oil is a company in Tarragona. They obtain almonds from local farmers in the Baix Camp region and extract the oil following the traditional method, with millstones and presses.

Virgin hazelnut oil.

First cold pressed and ecologically certified by the Catalan Council of Ecological Agriculture (CCPAE). It is rich in essential fatty acids (oleic and linoleic acids) and vitamins A and E. Besides, it has remarkable levels of calcium, magnesium, potassium and eight essential amino acids.

Our supplier of hazelnut oil is a company in Tarragona. They obtain hazelnuts from local farmers in the Baix Camp region and extract the oil following the traditional method, with millstones and presses.
