Philosofy

These are the cornerstones of our work philosophy.

• MATARRANIA believes that beauty belongs to everybody, and this beauty is expressed through health, happiness and self-esteem. Our body and skin evolve as we age in a natural process, and we want to feel comfortable with the time going by. Beauty is present when we are 20 years old and when we are 50 too, and although it is not as striking, it is more confident, more intense, brighter and calmer.
• MATARRANIA believes in skin-friendly cosmetics. We do not trust lists of ingredients that are incomprehensive due to its chemical formulae and which do not inform about what we are using to care for our skin. We want natural and organic products that care for the health of both people and the Earth.
• MATARRANIA prefers local ingredients (more than 90% of our raw materials are produced less than 200 km away). We do not look for ingredients all over the world, from exotic places, with a high environmental cost of manufacture and transport, and the production of which we cannot supervise.
• MATARRANIA supports social economy, traditional agriculture and stockbreeding, as well as the values rooted to land. We prioritize female employment reconciling personal, family and labour life.
• MATARRANIA wants pure, efficient and real cosmetics. We want a moisturizing cream that cares for your skin but without imposing a daily use. We do not need to diversify neither multiply the range of products for commercial purposes, our goal is to create versatile and efficient products.
